A Quiet Calendar Still Needs Public Reasons
CFAA argues that adult autonomy is best protected when the committee explains what evidence it is waiting for and what evidence it still needs.
No scheduled meeting is still a public update
the committee page says there are currently no scheduled meetings and shows an October 9 page timestamp. That should not leave adults, retailers, parents, and public-health advocates guessing about what comes next.
The autonomy standard
Premier Smith previously argued that restrictions can push nicotine purchasing into harder-to-monitor channels, according to CHAT News Today. CFAA says the same logic should apply to Bill 208: if government limits a lawful route, it should explain the displacement risk.
